Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 (Day 52)
Inverse matrices was today's lesson. The students learned how to determine if 2 square matrices were inverse matrices, find inverse matrices, and use inverse matrices to solve systems of equations. The assignment was Inverse Matrices Worksheet.

Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015 (Day 51)
There is no Bell Work today.
Today's lesson was on determinants. The students learned how to find a determinant of 2x2 and 3x3 matrices. They need a graphing calculator to find the determinant of 3x3 and larger matrix. The assignment is Determinants and Cramer's Rule Worksheet.

Wednesday, Nov.18, 2015 (Day 50)
Today's lesson was on determinants. The students learned how to find a determinant of 2x2 and 3x3 matrices. They need a graphing calculator to find the determinant of 3x3 and larger matrix. The assignment is Determinants and Cramer's Rule Worksheet. However, the students only needed to do problems #1 - 3.

Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015 (Day 49)
The lesson for today was multiplying matrices with a graphing calculator. The students just typed the matrices into a TI-84+ graphing calculator and used it to multiply the different matrices. This assignment was to help students get comfortable in using the graphing calculators. The assignment is Multiplying Matrices with a Graphing Calculator Worksheet.

Monday, Nov. 16, 2015 (Day 48)
Multiplying different sizes of matrices was today's lesson. The students learned that in order to multiply matrices, the number of columns of the 1st matrix must be the same as the number of rows of the 2nd matrix. If this was not the case, the matrices can't be multiplied. The assignment was page 257 # 19 - 27, 31 - 34.
