Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016 (Day 98)
The students learned about the Factor Theorem (Is a binomial, such as (x + 4), a factor of a polynomial function, like f(x) = x^3 - 2x^2 - 21x + 12?). All that needs to be done is divide the polynomial by the binomial using synthetic division. If the remainder was 0, then the answer is "Yes." If the remainder is any other number, the answer is "No." The assignment for today was Factor Theorem Worksheet.

Monday, Feb. 08, 2016 (Day 95)
The lesson for today was evaluating polynomial functions using synthetic division. According to the Remainder Theorem, the remainder after using synthetic division will the value of the polynomial at the domain value in which you divided. The assignment was Page 426 # 8 - 11, 25 - 28.
